The fleet used for charter flights and scheduled flights vary and the main dependant factor is the airstrip which is being serviced. All the above mentioned aircrafts can land in all airstrips in East Africa National Parks & Reserves except afew which when making an inquiry you can be advices. The caravan has proved to be the most convenient and reliable aircrafts which has served in Africa in war torn areas for the humanitarian aid and relief supplies for both cargo and passengers. In American it is used for passengers and parcel delivery for DHL and still in Africa they deliver parcels for DHL in Daresaalam, Entebbe, Kigali and Bujumbura. The Dash and the Buffalo have been used within Eastern ,Central, South Sudan,Darfur,Chad,DR Congo for cargo and movement of personnel for United Nations, ICRC,European Union, International organizations,UNHCR,WFP,UNICEF and Non-Governmental .The C-172 and C-182 are the most reliable aircrafts for a couple or two friends on holiday in east Africa who wants to do filming safaris, scenic flights, aerial survey & photography, sight seeing in Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania and the  entire East Africa. The C-206 a 5 seater single engine piston also serves the same purpose as the C-172/C-182 as they have the same performance  but the difference is that it has two more seats than the C-172/C-182.They can also serve the cargo,freight,parcel flights and cash-in transit within remote areas in Kenya like,Marsabit,Moyale,Mandera,Garissa,Hola,Wajir,Lamu,North Horr among others for cargo ranging from 50-200 for C-172/c-182 and C-206  from 250 to 450 kilos of cargo,freight,parcel and this will be cheaper other than chartering a bigger aircraft. These aircrafts can be used for mapping survey as it has high wings and they are modified away that the equipments for mapping can be fitted in and the window can be removed to enable the photographer take quality photographs. All these aircrafts have pressurized cabin. The need runaway of not less than 1,800 meters long except the B737-300 needs runway of not less than 2,500 meters long.
